Light Lead My Way

Occasionally I have these dark moments,
where I might doubt myself,
second guess my intentions,
and generally give up to the fact that failure IS an option.
Yep, I told you they were dark.
Occasionally I entertain these notions of no longer pushing myself,
as an artist,
as a small business,
and accepting this failure.
It terrifies me.

I remember myself that in every dark moment, there will be light to lead my way.
A path that brings me back to the person I am, and scolds me for letting her slip a way, even if just a little.  I reflect on myself and ask myself "am I ready to give up on this?" and the answer is always "Hell no". Because I no longer just run a small jewellery business I do on the side.

Oh no.
My worlds collided long ago and the things I create and direct fragments of the soul I put into them. Oh if they could tell you a story!
I take a brief breath when I have one of these "I'll never make it" moments, and take in the dark moment, because I am stubborn enough to know there will always be light that leads my way back.

Ever a self indulgent moment of weakness, but perhaps it keeps me humble...

Light That Leads My Way Ring is created to represent the growth a person makes, whether it be in a relationship, as an individual, or even as a business. It is created as a symbol of Light in a dark moment of doubt.
Created with one of my very favorite blue Labradorite stones, set simply in sterling silver, with a hand fabricated wreath like band, mimicking the return back to ones self.

You and I

Five years ago today you went from being my best friend, to being my best friend and the man I get to kiss at any given moment throughout the day.

{Taken about a month after we started dating}

In five years we have never had an all out fight. We've never said things we regret.

It wasn't always roses though, both of us going through tough times.

But I always saw a little light in our future, and knew in my heart that once we reached that light filled place again, there would be no stopping us.

Every day I find a reason to be thankful you are in my life, and to appreciate the light you bring to me.

I love the small things you do, like ask for take out to be made without green peppers, because you know I hate them. Silly small things, that make up one heck of a guy!

How lucky I truly am.

Newies for March

Lordy, it is March already... where is spring!?!?! It is icky and rainy and cold here and I am sick as a dog. Whaaaaaaa.

Ok, horrible childish rant over with. Now onto the good stuff - the new items for March!
