You may be a metalsmith when...



You injure yourself in the oddest of places. Oops.
One of those moments you don't realize you've sliced between two fingers until you see blood everywhere. THEN it starts to sting.

OH no Jaime sounds like something I would do, I think we just get so into our creations we forget to look where we are headed crazy huh? Just to engrossed in our zones. lol

My favorite is when you see the blood, look at the blood, and think "I can totally solder just one more thing before I go grab a band-aid."

So true miss Dove! In this case it right before heading out for dinner, and I just had to "do one more thing". I turned to Dan and said, "ok, I am ready" and he went " really? Sure you don't want to clean that up first?" only to look down and see what I'd done.
I truly wonder how long I would have gone without noticing it!
