Take Flight

Take Flight Belt Buckle
Copper, Brass and Sterling Silver

Sometimes I dream I am a feather.
I fly high above all the buildings in this city.
I soar over the ocean and the valley.
I coast down the sides of the mountain.
I touch down to the ground,
only to be picked up by the wind on my next journey.

Sometimes I wish I were a feather.
Weightless,
on a constant journey.
And then I remember that life is a journey,
one we all travel.
Like feathers, we end up in different places,
shed from our mothers and fathers,
and let loose on the world in our own adventure.

A belt buckle about destiny.
Handmade in copper, brass and touches of sterling silver rivets. I have hand cut a soaring eagle out of brass, and over laid it on textured copper I rolled myself.
Measuring approx 2 1/4 in tall (56mm) and 3 inches wide (75mm)this buckle is touched with sterling silver corner rivets and features hand forged brass hardware.

Free to fly high...

In the shop later today

The fact that you can make jewlery is something I'm going to seriously envy. This stuff is beautiful. Do you have a link that shows you how to do this? Do you need some type of certification? Let me know!

Oh and since you like reading and journal writing you might be interested in my blog. I have sites where you can read online stories and even post your own and if you ever wanted to take it to another level, I have a link where you can look at self-publishing and ask a self-publisher himself about anything. Here's the link if you wanted to check it out:

P.S. That belt buckle is VERY cute. =D
