In Before 2010

Hello all!

I hope the holidays have found you all well :-) Ours was full of family on both sides, friends, and more presents than I could imagine. I feel blessed and very grateful for the people in my life, as well as all of you that have supported Bella-Bijou and made the Holiday Season successful for me.

2010 brings my 5th year running Bella-Bijou Jewellery and it has come leaps and bounds over the years - as have I. I can only hope it continues to grow and I can continue to send my little dreams-turned-metal-and-stone worldwide. Perhaps one day the thankless day job will no longer be necessary, perhaps one day my dreams will be reality, perhaps 2010 will be my best year yet ( it will if I have anything to do with it!)

This will be my last shop update of 2009 :-) Both items are in shop currently.

Oopsies!

Ho Ho Ho!

Hello all!

I have some new goodies tumbling away, but they aren't quite ready for show yet, so I thought I might blog a little about the holidays :-)

This year will be a busy year, full of family from all over. Dan's sister and hubby from New Orleans are coming home for the holidays... with a little something special - a baby bump! They will be coming home to a few inches of snow at least, however if the weather network is telling me the truth it may be much more than that ( I hope not! It's awfully hilly round these parts, which doesn't make for good snow driving!)

We finished decking the halls and trimming the tree not too long ago, and I instantly feel happy seeing the twinkling lights and handmade Christmas decorations :-)

My little "J" Elf - this guy has been around about as long as I have!

Glass bells - these have been passed down from my grandmother to my mother and now to me, they are about 8 inches long and look so pretty when the lights sparkle against them!

What can I say ? I am one of those people who loves to wrap gifts and see the look on

peoples face when they open them :-)

I will post new items in the next couple days, but in the meantime I do hope you all are enjoying the holiday season, regardless of what you celebrate or believe!

I have been so thankful for all my orders this year and all the new friends I have made - I do hope Santa is good to each and every one of you!

Oh Dear...

I know.... I have been a terrible blogger as of late!

Last week was quite possibly one of the worst this year, day job blues and crummy things I wont go into. The good news is its a new week, and I have new goodies to share!

This holiday season hasn't brought me a fantastic amount of sales, it has been quite slow, but the upside of that is the time to spend creating new and wonderful arty pieces to share with you all!
