Its that time already - time for my second installment of Fave Tool Of the Week ! This week its my design stamps :-) Over the last year Ive become addicted to the possibilties of design stamps! These are some of my faves :

Fave Tool Of the Week- Aug 23rd 2008

This is the first installment of my Fave Tool Of the Week Series! A time when I can take a moment, and appreciate all the great tools, advice and techniques Ive picked up over the last few years! Any artisan can make something beautifull, but with the right tools, you can take your work to the highest level!

I thought Id start off this series with a bang, featuring my newest, and possibly most expensive tool - my rolling mill! I can't express how much easier this tool has made my life, and my boyfriend can vouch for the fact that our home is much quieter because of it :-)

New Items For Week of Aug 18th

Heres a couple new items I listed yesterday! These studlettes will be made in a variety of stones, but im starting out with the classic sparkle of White Topaz to see how they do! Perfect for a bride, or everyday wear!

Another classic wardrobe staple, that I incorperated into my line this summer is my Squared Off Bracelets. I started with the Sterling Silver version, and now Ive added the 14k Goldfilled!

On top of these goodies - Ive finally started to integrate some 14k gold into my line. I will be added pieces weekly with 14k gold detailing, like this Oyster Necklace, which is a mix of oxidized and polished sterling silver, and a 14k gold "pearl".

As always Id love to hear reviews and thoughts on my items! Also keep tuned - in the next week im going to introduced my "Fave Tool of the Week" installment. I will post pics and tips for my favorite tools!

Design Hut On Etsy!

When I saw this shop ages ago, I just knew it would do well! Based out of Chicago, Design Hut is home decor and gifts with a clean, feminine & chic feel. Creator Samantha Chaisiri, takes inspiration from her upbringing in Thailand, and uses it to help give her designs an organic and natural elemental feel.

Ahhh Relaxation...

Im on the 4th day of my week off from the ole day job ( dont htink it would ever be possible to vaca from jewellery!). We just got back from a nice little stay at the Four Seasons Whistler BC ( home of the 2010 Olympics!) Its only about 2 hours away from us, but gives you that feel of being far away.

There was a fantastic farmers market taking place on the sunday when we arrived, tones of jewellery, veggies, pickles ( they were soooo good!) and clothes. I had some of the best kettle corn ever! I definatly left with lots of inspiration, an in the next couples days you'll be seeing some of the fruits of my labour- think nature, organic, pure. So excited!

1st Post! Welcome!

We here it is- my first blog post! Im about as excited as one can be at 1:30am when they cant sleep hehe.

In the next coming weeks, I will be turning this blog into a resource of writeups on other sellers, artisans and crafters, previews on pieces I'm working on, and the odd tutorial! I hope everyone enjoys, and I look forward to linking up with some other great bloggers out there!
